Haley Diatto grew up in Lubbock and, as the daughter of a veterinarian, was interested in medicine from a young age. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with high honors. A week after graduation, she married Ben, and they moved to Fort Worth so she could start Physician’s Assistant school at the UNT Health Science Center.

Haley graduated from PA school in May 2013 with high honors and has enjoyed working in internal medicine ever since. She appreciates how, as an internist, she must understand and piece together how all the different body systems work together and influence one another.

When not at work, Halley can be found shuffling one of her three kids between the baseball and soccer fields or helping them with homework. She enjoys running, reading, and family time, especially on her family farm outside College Station.
